12 Week Forever Skills Programme
By working closely together during these 12 weeks, you will gain all the tools, training technique and mindset to continue without me.
You'll be learning new habits slowly and steadily, in a way that is sustainable and allows you to embed them forever. This is why I've named this 12-week programme 'Forever Skills' and hope you see this as I do, namely, an investment in yourself for your present and your future.
You’ll be investing in your health now to create excellent health and fitness habits that last a lifetime. It's as far from a quick win/whim-based programme as you can possibly get!
One or two weekly workout sessions with me over zoom for 45 minutes depending on the package you choose. Our main focus in these sessions will be resistance training, with particular attention on technique and learning how hard to work. This is an art in itself! I may make the sessions more cardio based, depending on your goals. Every client is unique and this programme is bespoke to you.
Once a week over Zoom we’ll have a 30 minute catch up. This time is essential for us to understand what factors may be impacting your health and fitness, as once we reach menopause, it isn’t as simple as just doing the work outs in order to feel in top health. We’ll discuss stress, sleep, nutrition, self-care, time management and more. By taking a 360° approach I ensure your programme is flexed to take on board the ups and downs of life at the time. We will also use this time to review last week’s goals and set new ones for the coming week which will all be sent in a weekly email.
This is pivotal to your success. I will have visibility as to whether you are on track with all goals set and will be gently holding you accountable to these. I set daily/weekly movement and exercise goals, besides others regarding nutrition, self-care, stress management and sleep.
Every four weeks I formally review your exercise programme and achievements to ensure you’re on track, creating new workouts for you in the app and more. We can be our worst critics and sometimes don’t see our own progress. To this end, we will use progress photos, body measurements and a few strength tests to enable you to see how far you’ve come at every 4 week stage: all in place to support you to succeed. (Remember everything is optional as the programme is bespoke to you)
Food and Drink Diary
During the 12 weeks we will use an app to track food and drink consumed. Nutrition is a key part of the journey when it comes to exercise. One without the other is doing your body a disservice. And once in menopause, what we need to nourish our bodies and thrive can look quite different to how it did in our 30’s.
I will support and encourage you throughout the 12 weeks including outside of our scheduled sessions. That may be via a well-timed WhatsApp message or an e-mail- we play that all by ear. Let’s just say, we get to know each other quite well!
I charge a monthly rate for the 12 weeks and that can vary a little depending on what we include.
If we decide on the programme described then I charge:
£795 per month for each of the 3 months if choosing 45minute workouts 2x a week with me over Zoom and 1 weekly catch-up call of 30 minutes
£545 per month for each of the 3 months if choosing 45minute workouts 1x a week with me over Zoom and 1 weekly catch-up call of 30 minutes
